What is a Cargo Net?

A Cargo Net is a must have equipment onboard the ship. It is a large square net, made of rope, used to sling cargo into and out of a ship's hold.

In our modern shipping, methods of loading and unloading ship cargoes, such as the container and ro-ro ship, no longer uses this method of handling cargo. But other small merchant ships still use cargo net for loading and unloading of cargoes.

Large ships on the other hand use cargo net for their provision supplies. Big change has happened with modern, the use of cargo net onboard the ship has decreased.
